Rapeseed oil is a kind of edible oil extracted from rapeseed. Rapeseed oil is golden or brown in color and has a certain smell, which is called "green smell" by folk. It is one of the main edible oils in China, mainly produced in the Yangtze River basin, southwest, northwest and other places, with the output ranking the top in the world. Process flow of rapeseed oil press by oil press:

1. Hot pressing: rapeseed - cleaning - frying - pressing - filtering - finished rapeseed oil;

Operating instructions: The rapeseed shall be screened with a sieve with a specification of 30 mesh/inch, so that the impurity content of the rapeseed is less than 0.5%, and then the moisture content of the rapeseed is about 9%. Then the rapeseed can be steamed and fried. The temperature of the rapeseed can reach 110-120 ℃, and the moisture content is about 1-1.5%. Then the rapeseed can be pressed into the oil press. For example, if a cylindrical frying pan is used, the rapeseed can enter the cylindrical frying pan directly into the flat-bottomed frying pan after cleaning and removing impurities. But add 2-3% water when frying seeds, and when the temperature is 110-120 ℃, the seeds can be pressed out of the pot. The following methods can be used to determine whether the rapeseed is fried well during hot pressing. Wipe the rapeseed with two pieces of wood. If the shell and kernel are separated, the kernel is dark yellow. If the kernel is powdered, it is too dry. If the shell and kernel are not separated, it is too wet.

2. Cold pressing: rapeseed - cleaning - pressing - filtering - finished rapeseed oil;

Operating instructions: When cold pressing, remove the impurities from the rapeseed, and there is no need to use a frying pan to fry the rapeseed. The moisture content of the rapeseed during cold pressing will directly affect the oil production efficiency. Therefore, it is very important to determine the moisture content of the rapeseed. Generally, the moisture content of the rapeseed before pressing is controlled at 5-8%. Use the soil method to determine the moisture content of the rapeseed. You can squeeze the rapeseed with your fingernail if there is a noise, and divide it into two pieces. The moisture content of the rapeseed is appropriate when there is oil, If it is packed in powder, the water content is too low and too dry; if it is flat, the water content is too high and too wet.

Problems that customers are prone to occur during the pressing process: the oil content in rapeseed is as high as 33-40%. Generally, there will be no abnormal phenomenon during the hot pressing according to the operation instructions. If the cold pressing is due to improper operation or the water content of the oil is not suitable, the temperature of the rapeseed oil press body is not good, and there will also be slag leakage, oil return or feed irregularity.
