At present, the screw press equipment on the market can be divided into cold press and hot press according to the press process, which are also different from each other. So what are their different processes, advantages and disadvantages? Next, our technical experts will comprehensively analyze hot pressing and cold pressing for you:

Hot pressing of screw oil press:

Hot pressing is to press the oil plants after they are fried in a frying pan. Generally, hot pressing presses the oil plants once. The cooked oil tastes pure and fragrant, especially the sesame and peanut, which are rich in oil. Hot pressing oil requires the oil to be selected, broken, and then heated at high temperature to make a series of changes occur inside the oil: destroy the oil cells, promote protein denaturation, reduce oil viscosity, and so on, so that the biological active substances (vitamin E, sterols, carotenoids, etc.) in the oil are lost in the process of pressing, greatly reducing the nutritional value of the oil.

Cold pressing of screw oil press:

The cold pressing process is applicable to edible oil produced in large quantities for civil use. It can directly press oil crops without heating. The raw materials do not need to be heated, and the oil press is not equipped with a heating ring, and the oil is directly extracted by cold pressing. Cold pressed oil has pure natural characteristics, avoiding the adverse effects of high temperature oil processing. The natural flavor and color of the oil are preserved in the cold-pressed product oil, and the physiologically active substances in the oil are completely preserved (vitamin E has anti-aging function, sterols have skin health function and enhance human metabolism function). The original flavor of the oil extracted by the cold-pressed oil machine is light but not on fire, and it will not froth when frying, and it will not jam the pan, which is a good choice for a healthy life.

The advantages and disadvantages of cold pressing and hot pressing are different:

The main difference between cold pressing and hot pressing is in temperature. Take peanuts for example, the temperature of hot pressing is between 120-130 degrees, while the temperature of cold pressing is about 65 degrees. In addition, due to the high protein content of protein powder during cold pressing, the main reason is that the temperature is low, and the protein denaturation is light. During hot pressing, the egg white should be denatured as much as possible to improve the oil yield. The two oil pressing methods are selected according to different raw materials, such as peanuts, and hot pressing is recommended.
